Care and Maintenance

Leather Care Guide

Leather is naturally responsive to its environment.

To preserve the beauty of your Claude Préval piece over time, minimize exposure to water, direct sunlight, heat and humidity, and avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics and alcohol-based products. As with all fine leathers, some highly pigmented materials may transfer color through repeated contact.

If wet, gently pat dry with a soft cloth. When not in use, store your piece in its dust bag, lightly filled with tissue paper to maintain its shape. Avoid overloading to help preserve its structure.

Natural leather develops a unique patina over time, adding to the character of your
piece.

For cleaning or maintenance, entrust your piece to a specialized leather-care atelier.
